Acapulco is an Americanized take on Mexican food. I don't really like authentic Mexican food, so I can't compare Acapulco to the many authentic Mexican restaurants in LA. But compared to other similar Mexican restuarant chains like El Torito, Acapulco wins hands down. I brought 5 people from out of state who have never eaten Mexican food.
Three of us had OK meals. Two others ordered the same entree and were
throwing up all night...food poisoning. Bummer! They will never eat
Mexican food again.

overpriced: This place is definetly not worth it..the food isnt good and its overpriced..for 12 dollars a plate i accpected something better..i will never eat there again..i do not recommend it to anybody....

It's kinda like Chevy's near the Burbank Media Center.
Pretty good. They give good portions, you won't leave with
an empty stomach. Try this place out.

Here I must admit my bias for I am Mexican and as such no Mexican
restaurant can ever compete with my late grandmother's
