Had the fish not been fishy I would have given this place a better rating, we had the mulligatawny soup which was awesome had a nice spice to it. The cock a perky soup was good also. I will come back for the soup.
It was quiet when we went on Labor Day evening, but the food was excellent. Some standard English Pub fare. Everything was tasty and the beer was cold.
I come not just for the great food but the excellent service. Sonia has made the bar a hot spot for the regulars in the neighborhood. She has a knack for brining people together. Thanks for making my Saturday nights!

25 years and for good reason. Fish & Chips or Shepherds Pie you can't go wrong either way. The servings are always enormous and you can wash it all down with one of many British beverages. Occasionally, and you'll have to check their schedule for the live band performances that occur from time to time.

The friendliest place in the area and the owners obviously care about their customers. The clientele are mostly locals, but a I have met and interacted with some very famous british stars here. Being a media center city, many artists are looking for a place to have `back home` food, and Buchanan offers that.
The British food is almost perfect, if they are going to serve British food they need to make sure the mash potato is real not Instant Mash and the gravy needs to be a little bit thicker, also please pe-el the spuds before roasting them other than that the place is a blessing in disguise I will frequent many more times for a good ole hearty meal.
